This no-contact 5K combines a traditional run/walk with a zombie survival challenge and plenty of spooky-season fun for participants ages 5 and up. Along the course, participants will encounter zombies, collect essential “supplies,” and work their way toward the ultimate goal: crossing the finish line with all five Supply Station stickers. By finishing the race while earning all stickers, participants will qualify to play the final Zombie Target Challenge!

How the Survival Challenge Works

The race includes five Supply Stations: one for each 1K of the 5K. Runners/walkers stop at each station to “collect supplies” (receive a Supply Sticker to stick on their race bibs). To successfully complete the Zombie Survival Challenge, participants must cross the finish line with all five Supply Station stickers.

Successfully complete the challenge to unlock an event-exclusive Zombie Target Challenge with opportunities to win prizes. Finishers with all 5 Supply Stickers get to launch an assault against their Zombie target of choice (no human targets, alive or unalive, will be involved, we promise). With varying degrees of difficulty and prizes, it’s a fun game and test of skills.

Please note that this is a no-contact race. Our human zombies are there to add fun, surprises, and a little ambiance but they will not touch runners or walkers or throw objects at them.

Participants should also never touch, grab, throw liquids or any objects at, or otherwise harass the Zombies.

Race Day Schedule

  • The race is on Saturday, October 24, 2026.

  • Race begins at 3:00 PM.

  • Pre-registered participants should pick up their race packet by 2:30 PM on race day and be at the starting area no later than 2:55 PM.

  • Registration will be accepted until 2:15 PM on race day.

  • Register by October 17 to receive a race shirt.

  • After October 17, basic registration will be available, which is $15 and doesn’t include a race shirt.

  • All race registration fees are non-refundable.
