Our Autumn Fun Fest is an afternoon of fall-season fun for kids, families, and adults at Lone Oak Green Park. Enjoy games and activities, music, food, shop handmade and creative finds at our Arts & Crafts Vendor Fair, and come dressed for the 5:00 PM Costume Contest with prizes for Best Kid Costume, Funniest Costume, and Scariest Costume.

The Scavenger Hunt and Zombie Walk at 6:00 is a fun way to explore the beautiful grounds at Lone Oak in a new way. It combines an individual or family Scavenger Hunt (deciphering clues, finding the location or object, snapping a pic, finding all items on the list, etc.) with a Youth Spooktacular Hunt where kids under 10 look for hidden surprises (for example, stickers, toy zombies, small squishies, all non-food items) that are “finder’s keepers.”

We’ll also have plenty of spooky-season extras, including Zombie Target Games, Photos with a Zombie, Spooky Season Trivia, Temporary Tattoos, Zombie Rubber Duck Challenge, Witch Hat Ring Toss, and more. Several games and activities will be free to play. Some activities will have a charge, which will be clearly marked. There is no admission fee.

Guests are encouraged to bring unused, unopened pet supplies for our Pet Supply Drive, and proceeds from event activities will benefit Jessamine County Animal Care and Control. Onsite adoptions will not be possible but we will have a board showcasing some of the animals in need and ways you can donate in your name during the event.
